You must have witnessed a viral challenge spreading all over the social media a few months back. The Ice Bucket Challenge, which raised millions of dollars of charity for the ALS Association and was quite possibly the most successful and viral charity campaign of all time. It actually required the person (undertaking the challenge) to perform it and nominate three more people to do the same and they had to undertake the challenge within 24 hours and donate to the charity association.
Many people took part in it including many famous celebrities (the reason why it became viral) and of course brands too have been seen doing it which might sound odd to many people reading this. Many brands not only tossed the bucket over the heads of their owners or CEOs but some went ahead and showed their creative side to the world too.

Of all these, the most viewed Ice Bucket Challenge came from Samsung which stars its Samsung Galaxy S5 phone in the challenge video. This was a pure genius advertisement too; it highlighted the salient feature of the phone too that is it is waterproof. Samsung played more cleverly and went ahead to nominate its competitors, Apple, Nokia, HTC etc to undertake the challenge, knowing that their smartphones do not feature the “waterproof” ability.
